Gratitude is unexpected. It can come in any situation.
Gratitude is saying, “This thing or situation is teaching me to become more me.”
Whether I asked for it or not, I can be grateful.
Dictionary definitions say that gratitude is an expression of appreciation usually in return for kindness.
But gratitude doesn’t have to be in return for kindness, it can be in return for anything.

Let go. When people ask me what I do, I have a variety of 30 second to 1 minute speeches, but the bottom line is that I help people to let go. Forgiveness is ultimately letting go, and reclaiming yourself, truth, power, being, whatever it is that you want to finally claim.
