6 Life Changing Affirmations

There are 6 types of forgiveness and affirmation statements that I use with my clients (and myself). This is by no means an exhaustive list, but it is the bulk of an EPT™ Session and my favorite list. 

1, 2, 3, Letting Go Of The Old Patterns

  1. “I forgive myself for believing...”

There is a lot of forgiveness in Emotional Polarity Technique™, and most of it is forgiving myself for beliefs that aren’t helping me in the present. These old beliefs might have helped me survive trauma, grow, and have a bearable childhood—but they aren’t working anymore. 
You can also forgive yourself for actions (e.g. I forgive myself for hitting my wife), not just beliefs, but it is usually a belief that was behind the action (e.g. I forgive myself for believing I have to hit when I’m angry or upset). 

2. “I forgive others…”

What did someone else do to put in that belief? 

3. “I give others permission to forgive me…”

This statement is super magical because it’s owning where we do the same thing that someone did to us. It’s letting go of our justification for any action that is unhealthy for myself or someone I love. It’s letting go of blame, so you can be free. 

4, Letting Go Of Fear: “I love and accept myself [even when I’m afraid]…”

Fear can be a major hold up in healing. So, practice statements loving and accepting yourself no matter what you are afraid of. 

5, 6 Bringing In All The Good Stuff: “I give myself permission [to accept]…” and “Without this pattern, I am free…”

After all those forgiveness statements letting go of all that junk, this is where you can finally bring in the good stuff: confidence, security, creativity, calmness, contentment, joy, relaxation, worthiness, hope, motivation, passion, healthy relationships, deeper connections, community, or whatever your goals are.
